The moment your DNA sample arrives at our lab, we separate it from all personal information. From that point forward, it's identified only by a random serial number. No one who sees your DNA knows your name, your email, or any other identifying details

All your genetic data and personal details are encrypted using industry-standard security protocols. We store everything in an offline server behind a locked door. Almost no one has access to this server.

We Do NOT Sell Your Information

Your data belongs to you, and only you. We will not sell or share your information with any third parties without getting clear, explicit permission from you.

You can request deletion of your data or ask us to destroy your physical DNA sample at any time. You decide what happens to your information.

    At Pangenea, we take your privacy and security seriously. We protect ALL your information using standard security practices when we store your DNA sample, your DNA test results, and any other personal information. In our storage facilities, we do NOT label your results or sample with your name or any other identification information.


    Your data (genetic or otherwise) is NEVER shared with outside 3rd parties without your explicit permission. All data is encrypted and stored in an offline server with very limited access. Most Pangenea employees cannot even access this server — and the very few who do ONLY have permission for the sole purpose of adding/deleting data.


    We also destroy ALL DNA samples within 6 months of receipt. You can always request we destroy them sooner. If you really feel like it, you can ask us to delete all records we have of you. Just make sure to download your reports first so you don't lose your results.


    Your genetic data belongs to YOU. Period.

  • Do I need to input any personal information to use Genea AI?

    No additional personal information is required beyond what you've already provided when creating your Pangenea account.


    Genea AI is already trained on 300+ genetic reports and (if you have the Pangenea Ring) your real-time biometric data. You can share as much or as little information beyond that as you feel comfortable with. There’s no need to enter any health information, family history, or personal details unless you want to and feel the extra context would be helpful.


    Just ask your question, and Genea will reference your existing data to give you a personalized answer.

    Genea will analyze your caffeine metabolism genes, sleep quality data, stress markers, and more to deliver a personalized answer — without needing to enter any more personal information.
